Gallows Fruit is an independent small press with a particular interest in place and topography. We value the unique voice and style of individual writers, the integrity of any single project, and our own independence and aesthetic vision over any market considerations. Profits are shared fairly with our authors.
Orders are packed and processed within 24 hours. We have two postage options:
Registered (with tracking): usually within 10-14 days.
Unregistered (no tracking): 10-28 days.
The ‘Unregistered’ postage option is slightly cheaper and just as reliable. Please purchase with confidence: we take full responsibility and all orders are absolutely guaranteed. (New regulations require all US orders to now be Registered).
*EU customers - The EU now requires us to pay tax in advance of Registered postage. For the time being, please contact us using the form below before purchasing, and we will respond rapidly with a payment link.

HEAT DEATH is a unique and irregular journal by New Juche that engages varied subject matter through a considered synthesis of text and visual material.
In each issue, readers can expect to find new photography and artwork by New Juche and a full dose of his prose, with its blend of the scholarly, symbolic, and self-eviscerating. Pricing will vary from issue to issue, based on format, length and paper. Substantive high-quality content guaranteed.
New Juche
New Juche is a writer and artist originally from Scotland. Known, such as he is, for his lyrical prose style and a preoccupation with place, material and sensation, he is also a singular photographer and image-maker. New Juche’s published books include Mountainhead, Bosun, The Devils, and The Worm.
Karolina Ursula Urbaniak
Karolina Urbaniak (born 1982, Poland) is a co-founder of Infinity Land Press and a multi-media artist. Through photography, film and sound, her work explores the aesthetics of modern ruins, the economics of human destructiveness and the relationship between violence and creativity. Since 2008, she has lived and worked in London.
